Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini has expressed desire to establish the state as a prominent startup hub. Addressing a meeting with startup entrepreneurs, the Chief Minister stated that Haryana is making significant efforts to position itself as a key player in the national startup ecosystem.
According to a PTI report, Mr. Saini emphasized that this initiative aims to drive economic growth while creating abundant employment opportunities for the youth. He highlighted that the government is working towards building a robust startup infrastructure and providing a supportive environment for budding entrepreneurs.
Mr. Saini underscored the importance of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the state. In today's date, the strength of the modern economy is startups. By nurturing this ecosystem, we can empower the youth, attract investments, and accelerate economic progress," he remarked during the meeting.
The government plans to introduce favorable policies, financial support, and access to mentorship programs to encourage startups. This includes facilitating partnerships between startups, established industries, and academic institutions. Additionally, the focus is on leveraging Haryana’s strategic location and robust infrastructure to create a thriving startup environment.
