Prasar Bharati’s over-the-top (OTT) platform, WAVES, has achieved a remarkable milestone by crossing 1 million downloads just one month after its launch. This achievement was confirmed by the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Ashwini Vaishnaw, during a recent statement.

WAVES Application 

WAVES was introduced with the aim of revolutionizing digital entertainment in India, and its widespread acceptance highlights its growing popularity. The platform offers content in 12 languages, catering to a diverse audience across the country. With features like video-on-demand services, gaming, radio streaming, and access to 65 live TV channels, WAVES has quickly become more than just an entertainment platform—it's now seen as a daily essential for many.
