In a significant move towards promoting financial education and investor awareness, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has launched a free, voluntary online "SEBI - Investor Certification Examination." This initiative, developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), aims to empower investors by testing and enhancing their knowledge of the securities market and investing.

It will help investors understand the investing process and its risks better, leading to smarter investment decisions based on their risk tolerance.

Earlier this month SEBI launched Saarthi 2.0 SEBI’s Mobile App for Personal Finance for investors. App to comprehensive tools aimed at simplifying complex financial concepts by empowering investors with reliable and essential insights into the securities market.

SEBI Investor Certification Examination

SEBI Investor Certification Eligibilities

There is No eligibility Requirement to pursue this course, meaning anyone can register and Enroll in the Certification Exam.

SEBI Investor Certification Exam Mode

The exam will conducted online and After the Enrollment exam, a person can appear in the exam within 6 month

SEBI Investor Certification Exam Pattern

There will 50 Questions and 60 minutes, Interested will get study material from NISM. and in case of failure can appear after 6 months with re-enroll.

The passing mark is 50% i.e 25 marks

The certificate will be valid for 2 years.
