During his time at the quick commerce startup, Bagga played a crucial role in leading the warehousing division, focusing on key projects like the Mother Hub and Line Haul initiatives.
Bagga joined Zepto in April 2024 and contributed significantly to the company’s operations during a period of rapid expansion. He left the company at a time when the dark store network grew from 300 to more than 750 locations.
Before his stint at Zepto, Bagga had an extensive career in logistics and operations. He worked with Raymond Limited for three years as the Head of Distribution and Logistics, where he honed his expertise in managing large-scale operations.
Bagga’s resignation comes at a time when Zepto is scaling aggressively in the competitive quick commerce market, leveraging its dark store network to ensure faster deliveries. His contributions to strengthening the operational backbone of the company have left a lasting impact.
Zepto has yet to announce a successor to Bagga’s position, but his departure highlights the dynamic and evolving nature of leadership in the fast-growing quick commerce industry.
Before working in Zepto company, Jitendra Bagga has also worked for a long time in Reliance Retail. Jitendra Bagga has spent 24 years playing various roles, including leading JioMart projects and operations center from 2019 to 2021. At Reliance Retail, he worked for Reliance Digital Limited between 2015 and 2019.
